Glitter Magazine is a fashion, beauty, and entertainment national publication for women ages 18 to 24 years old and was founded in 2006. Glitter Magazine has been found and sold on over three thousand newsstands nationwide and in over 30 retail stores including Barnes and Noble, Target, and Walmart. It is a digital and print publication that reaches hundreds of millions of people. Glitter Magazine focuses on diversity and female empowerment. Each print issue of Glitter Magazine includes informative editorials; entertainment, fashion, and beauty news; plus tons of celebrity interviews.
PUBLISHED WORK
elevation 27: event promotion and production internship
Elevation 27 stands twenty-seven feet above sea level in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. The building previously occupied by Steppin’ Out, The Jewish Mother and Eagle’s Nest, has transformed into an ideal music and entertainment experience, recognized by the Rolling Stones.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Spread awareness and excitement about concerts, events, and happenings at Elevation 27

Act as informative guides to the public, spread the news of fun and encourage participation.

Promoting events on Social Media Platforms (Facebook and Instagram)

Print and hang printed promotional materials in locations that target specific, researched audiences

Sale and distribution of concert tickets sold on my behalf

Participate in event & concert production by assisting in guest entry, shadowing in the light & sound booths, and assisting the artists with any professional needs
